How Your Beauty Routine Can Keep You Healthy During Flu Season

Ah, flu season. Why can't clear skin or thick, flowing hair be contagious instead? (Or world peace, for that matter?)

The flu gains the most traction in December before peaking in February and will affect five to 20 percent of Americans this year, according to the CDC. You've heard it all before: get a flu shot, sanitize, and get lots of R&R, but there are several items on the beauty front you should check off your list too.

We consulted Target medical director Dr. Kevin Ronneberg and beauty expert Sonia Kashuk on how to flu-proof our beauty routine, plus included a few tips of our own.
